Shaftesbury Capital enjoys continued success in Covent Garden’s Seven Dials’ following a trio of brand announcements. Demonstrating strong confidence in the destination, Covent Garden’s Seven Dials is set to welcome heritage candlemaker Trudon for its UK bricks-and-mortar debut, celebrity piercing studio, Metal Morphosis’ new concept, and has recently launched hair specialists, Hadley Yates’, newly upsized salon.

Marking a significant moment in the brand’s rich history, Trudon, the luxury French candlemaker, has signed for its UK bricks-and-mortar debut in Covent Garden’s Seven Dials. The heritage brand, which was founded in 1643, is the oldest, active candlemaker in the world and together with Shaftesbury Capital, will launch the UK debut store this June. Manufactured in Normandy using unrivalled know-how inherited from master candlemakers, Trudon offers a luxury range of candles, perfumes, diffusers and room sprays. The new boutique will be located on Monmouth Street, joining fellow artisan and heritage brands.

Metal Morphosis, leading London piercing studio and jewellery retailer, is set to open its new concept studio on Earlham Street in April. The 30-year-old family founded business has built its reputation on providing an array of trusted piercing services, having opened its first boutique in Shaftesbury Capital’s Soho. The new Covent Garden studio will evolve the brand’s offer further with a number of bespoke services including fine line tattoos. Clients will also be able book with reputable guest piercers and tattoo artists who will host exclusive sessions once a month.

Following its huge success experienced within the Seven Dials neighbourhood, hair extension specialists, Hadley Yates has opened its new studio on Shelton Street. The boutique’s Seven Dials relocation and upsize is in direct response to the brand’s growing client list and stellar results enjoyed at the destination. Hadley Yates Seven Dials works exclusively with scalp specialists Act+Acre to be the only UK studio to offer both scalp health services and in-house treatments including colouring and cutting.
