Asda has launched its 2026 Christmas campaign that swaps traditional Christmas storytelling for a high-energy celebration of the moments customers are shopping for throughout the season.
Created by Lucky Generals and directed by Finn Keenan, the campaign is built around the message “All of Christmas at Asda Price. BOOM!” and aims to show customers they don’t need to cut back on Christmas joy, just the cost.
Asda’s creative takes a different approach, centring on five key Christmas missions: hosting, decorating, gifting, grocery home shopping and gathering around the dinner table. Through a series of four 30-second films and a bonus edit for digital channels, picture-perfect festive scenes unexpectedly transform into larger-than-life celebrations, reflecting the excitement, anticipation and chaos that makes many Christmases so memorable. All with that Asda Boom moment.

Set to a remixed version of Martin Garrix’s, Animals, a high-energy dance anthem that breaks away from traditional festive soundtracks, each advert transitions from classic Christmas card moments, into bigger, louder, joy-filled celebrations that showcase the feeling you get when there’s more Christmas for everyone.
Launching across TV, social, out of home and digital channels, the campaign reinforces the supermarket’s position as a one-stop shop for Christmas, bringing together quality, range and value across food, drink, clothing, gifts and home.
The campaign is rooted in a simple customer truth: people don’t want less at Christmas, they simply want to spend less on it.
As consumer focus on value remains high during the festive season, Asda’s campaign demonstrates how customers can still enjoy all the food, gifts, decorations and celebrations they associate with Christmas while benefiting from the value the retailer is known for.
Alongside the advertising campaign, Asda is also bringing its message to life through a seven-week social competition, with seven families set to receive a £500 Asda voucher to help fund their Christmas celebrations.
Tom Hampson, Group Marketing Director at Asda, said: “We know Christmas is one of the most important times of the year for our customers. It’s about bringing people together, creating memories and enjoying the traditions and moments that make the season special.

At the same time, people are continuing to think carefully about how they spend their money. The reality is customers don’t want to do less at Christmas, they simply want to spend less on it. They still want the dinner, the gifts, the decorations and the celebrations that bring friends and family together.
With this campaign, we wanted to take a different approach to festive advertising by focusing on the moments customers are actively planning and shopping for throughout the season. By bringing those moments to life through our BOOM platform, we’re showing customers they can find everything they need for Christmas all under one roof, at Asda Price.”
Nathan Velayudhan, Strategy Director at Lucky Generals, said: “At Christmas, it’s easy to forget what really matters to customers – getting the whole Christmas shop sorted, at prices they can afford. We wanted to show how Asda’s combination of great prices, quality and choice makes that possible, and celebrate the rave-inducing feeling of pulling it all off. With a serious banger.”
The campaign has now launched and will run throughout the festive season across TV, social and digital media.
