Co-op relaunched its Blatchington Road, Hove, store yesterday (Thursday 14th March) with a fresh new-look following a nine-week programme of works to transform and enhance the store. 

The 8,000 sq ft store, which supports over 25 local jobs, includes an in-store bakery, hot food and a Costa Coffee Express machine.

Parcel collection services are available through Amazon and InPost Lockers for added ease and convenience, there is a ‘Photo-Me’ booth and, the online home delivery of groceries is available through Deliveroo; Just Eat and Uber Eats.

Blatchington Road’s Co-op also has an enhanced focus on chilled and fresh produce, alongside meal ideas; everyday essentials; food-to-go; Fairtrade products, flowers, chilled beers and award-winning wines; ready meals, pizzas and, free-from; vegan and plant-based products – including Co-op’s exclusive vegan range, GRO.

A soft plastic recycle unit is also available in store to enable the community to recycle ‘soft plastics’ including: crisp packets and bread bags, lids from ready meals and yogurt pots, biscuit wrappers and, pet food pouches – ensuring all Co-op’s own food packaging is recyclable through either local authority kerbside collections, or the in-store recycling unit.
