High-street health and beauty favourite, Superdrug, has unveiled the brand-new B. Menopause skincare range. The collection has been developed by skincare experts for those experiencing changes in their skin related to peri-menopause and menopause.

A capsule range from the award-winning B. Skincare brand, B. Menopause has undergone extensive research – with focus groups and user trials consisting of over 500 peri-menopausal and menopausal women. Delivering visible results, the products are designed to support changing skin, and are formulated with peptide technology, proven to build collagen and elastin.

The in-depth research found that the effects of disrupted sleep was a key concern during this life-stage. The hero product, Comforting Sleep Cream, was loved by users with 71 percent saying their ‘skin looked as if it had a full night’s sleep – after just one application’, increasing to 84 percent after 4 weeks use. The range also includes a cooling Hydrating Day Cream, a daily light-weight Firming Serum and a light-weight Hydrating Eye Cream.

Shona Bear, Quality and Technical Manager at Superdrug, said: “The new range has been designed with our customer in mind. We believe that great skincare during menopause should be within everyone’s reach – there’s no need to spend hundreds of pounds. We have done extensive research to find the right active ingredients to support skin changes at this time. We want to normalise menopause as a stage in life like any other, to remove the stigma and give simple, clear information – same you, slightly different skin, that’s all.”

Menopause Wellness Practitioner and TikTok influencer, Kate Beavis, is working with Superdrug to further promote the range and provide lived experience and insight. Talking on the new products, Kate commented:

“It’s truly fantastic to see a brand like Superdrug launch a menopause range – especially one that is so aligned with the way women are feeling. We don’t know what to expect when experiencing the menopause and we certainly can’t pre-empt what happens to our skin. For me, my skin was drier, spot-prone, and I just didn’t feel like me. It can have a huge knock on confidence, I remember thinking, why are my usual products just not working?! This collection is a testament to Superdrug’s commitment to providing accessible and effective skincare solutions, at every stage of life.”

Kate will be working with Superdrug to further inform colleagues, working on menopause awareness campaigns within the business. As an employer, Superdrug understands and respects the unique experiences that individuals may face during different stages of life – and are committed to creating a supportive and inclusive workplace.

The full B. Menopause range is vegan, cruelty free, and formulated using sustainable palm oil. Products are available both online and in-store at Superdrug from the 4th October, with prices ranging from £13.99 to £16.99.
