UK retail and leisure destination Trafford Centre has announced the opening of its brand-new River Island concept store. The stunning 21,000sqft store provides a fully integrated shopping experience, combining physical and digital with interactive fitting rooms and self-service tills.

The new River Island store is an upsize and relocation for the brand at Trafford Centre, taking the upper floor of the former TopShop unit. The shop opened on 5th May with a weekend of celebrations including events and activities for customers, pop-ups from local Manchester businesses and a charity activation supporting Newlife The Charity for Disabled Children.

The Trafford Centre store is one of River Island’s new concept stores to rollout and is the first in the North of England. The store will offer design-led womenswear clothing and accessories alongside the brand’s expansive and versatile denim range. Menswear will carry leisurewear, denim in various fits and washes and a sophisticated range of suits and smart wear, while Kidswear will offer RI baby, mini and older kids’ ranges with highlights including cute co-ords and everyday essentials.
