Sloane Stanley has announced the signing of the luxury Childrenswear boutique, Il Porticciolo, for its London flagship at 253 King’s Road. The London-based, Italian-produced clothing label is set to open on the Sloane Stanley Estate in early September.

With famous clients including the Royal Family, the 1,077 sq ft, two-level King’s Road boutique will showcase a variety of classic pure cashmere and pure merino wool jumpers, traditional hand and machine-smocked dresses, plus embroidered collar shirts with heirloom standards. All collections focus on traditional Italian style and will be available for boys and girls up to the age of 12 years old. A capsule selection of swimwear and accessories will complete the offer available at the brand’s only London store as it relocates from Sydney Street.

Il Porticciolo, founded in January 2018 by Italian-born Carola Ploederl Cafiero, was specifically created to showcase exquisite, high-quality products made in Italy and finished by artisans.

Carola Ploederl Cafiero, Founder of Il Porticciolo commented: “Our launch in September is very exciting, we can’t wait to have our only London boutique located on

the iconic King’s Road. It is the perfect area to build upon our already strong client base and we are looking forward to being part of the community in the heart of Chelsea.”

Hannah Grievson, Property Director at Sloane Stanley, added: “We are always looking to evolve, a key strategy for Sloane Stanley, and one area we identified was to expand our childrenswear offer. Il Porticciolo is such a beautiful brand and one that we felt had a fantastic synergy with our other creative and designer labels already on the estate. Choosing to relocate their flagship to the King’s Road is a complement to our successful and thriving community and the level of consumer that we attract.”

Levy Real Estate, Miles Commercial and Savills act on behalf of the Sloane Stanley Estate. Il Porticciolo dealt direct.
