Fujifilm has announced that its partnership with Primark has surpassed expectations, after seeing more than 20,000 in-store digital print sales in the first three months of operation.

The strategic partnership, which launched in November 2023 with a PHOTO by Fujifilm concession at Primark’s Manchester Market Street store, allows customers the opportunity to purchase Fujifilm favourites, including digital photo prints, frames and other photo-related accessories.

In the first three months of the partnership from November to January, in excess of 20,000 digital prints have been sold, well ahead of projections.

Theo Georghiades, general manager at Fujifilm UK, said: “While our partnership with Primark only launched at the beginning of November, sales have been exceptional. Selling more than 20,000 digital prints over a three-month period is encouraging to see and demonstrates that there is a huge demand to make digital printing more accessible on the high street to the everyday photographer.

Our strategic partnership was set up to allow customers to easily capture their memories and bring their photos to life, while enhancing the high street experience. Whether it’s taking some of your favourite photos and creating keepsakes, or sharing with your loved ones, there is certainly something special about a printed photo, and it’s clear that Manchester customers feel the same way.”

The PHOTO By Fujifilm concession is located on the first floor of the Primark store. It is home to three INSTAX booths and four Easy Print instant printing kiosks.
