Adam Woods, Co-op Store Manager, said: “It is very exciting to be relaunching our Sherburn-In-Elmet store. Our aim is to always operate at the heart of local life and, we are really looking forward to welcoming Member-owners and customers into their new-look and improved store. We have worked to develop the range, choice and added services to create a compelling offer to serve our community, conveniently. With a focus on delivering member-value so that the people who own our business, our member-owners, benefit every time they shop.”

Co-op is one of the world’s largest consumer-owned co-operatives. Its Member-owners own the business and play an intrinsic part in the governance of the organisation, enjoying a wide number of benefits including member-only pricing across everyday essentials and, personalised offers via the Co-op Membership app.

In January, Co-op launched a significant new round of member prices within its Food business which saw a further 117 everyday low prices including, for the first time, branded goods. This followed the biggest ever investment in convenience pricing last year, where Member prices were introduced on 175 everyday essential products.
