The Spitalfields Estate has reached full occupancy just over two years since its renovation programme was completed with architects Foster + Partners. The leading historic market destination for East London, Spitalfields E1 (www.spitalfields.co.uk), has welcomed two new leading brand names, with Swedish health-tech company Neko Healthnow open on Lamb Street, and French fashion eyewear brand bloobloom open on Market Street.

Neko Health has opened its largest health centre to date in the heart of Spitalfields just six months after launching in the UK. Located in a striking standalone 7,466 sq ft building on 1 Lamb Street, the health centre is equipped to deliver up to 30,000 health scans annually, bringing preventive health part of everyday life.

The unique non-invasive Neko Body scan costs £299 and maps millions of health data points on the body – both inside and out – in just a few minutes. It checks moles and marks across the body, symptoms of metabolic syndrome and risk factors for stroke and heart attack, along with blood sugar levels to assess pre-diabetes risk. The Health Centre features a striking grand glass door entrance and a vast, light-filled reception area —an inviting space that welcomes people into the future of healthcare. Thoughtfully curated architecture and materials guide you seamlessly through the environment, creating moments of reflection and comfort.

The designer eyewear brand bloobloom opened a brand new 615 sq ft store on 2nd May 2025. The interior resembles a serene Mediterranean escape where thoughtful design meets tranquility creating a fully immersive customer experience. The full collection which features sunglasses and spectacles will be available to shop in store with prices starting at £99. The Spitalfields E1 store will offer customers the full bloobloom experience from walk-in eye examinations with in-house opticians, adjustment and repair services as well as personalised style advice. All frames are handcrafted and made from sustainable materials.

Jason Dervin, Spitalfields Estate Director, says: “We are so excited to be fully leased with the openings of Neko Health and bloobloom completing the retail portfolio at Spitalfields E1. We’re thrilled that both brands are joining our vibrant retail community, and look forward to visitors and locals discovering Spitalfields’ new era with us.”

Eilam Gazit, Chief Operating Offier of Neko Health, comments: “We’re thrilled to be partnering with Spitalfields Estate; they’ve been a fantastic partner, allowing us to bring our vision to life in one of London’s most vibrant and iconic locations. This new standalone site reflects everything we believe preventive healthcare should be: accessible, human-centred and integrated into everyday life. Being based in Spitalfields allows us to reach more people where they already live, work and gather.”

Abbas Manai, Co-Founder at bloobloom, adds “Opening in a prime spot in Spitalfields E1, is the perfect next step for bloobloom. This location allows us to deepen our connection with the East London community. Spitalfields E1 is an exciting shopping destination, and expanding our retail presence here helps us grow our reach while staying true to our mission of making quality stylish eyewear more accessible. We are looking forward to welcoming loyal and new customers to this store.”
