Eldon Square, Newcastle’s premier shopping and leisure destination, has announced that Dave’s Hot Chicken, the fast-growing US restaurant brand, will open a new location at the centre – marking the brand’s first restaurant in the North East. The signing further strengthens the destination’s growing food and beverage line-up as demand for experiential dining continues to grow.

The new 4,541 sq ft restaurant, which is scheduled to open at the end of May, will further strengthen Eldon Square’s diverse F&B line-up, joining well-known brands.

Founded in Los Angeles, Dave’s Hot Chicken has built a global following with its Nashville-style hot chicken concept, offering a focused menu of tenders, sliders and sides with a range of spice levels. The Eldon Square restaurant will feature the brand’s signature graffiti-style interiors and bold visual identity, bringing its distinctive dining experience to the North East.

The opening forms part of Dave’s Hot Chicken’s expansion across the UK, latest openings include Leicester, Sheffield, and Bristol. as the brand continues to grow its presence across the UK. The Newcastle location reaffirms the strength of Eldon Square’s city-centre catchment and its appeal as a destination for leading international F&B brands.

The announcement forms part of Eldon Square’s continued investment in strengthening its leisure and dining offer, with several new operators set to open across the destination in the coming months.
