The Surface Design Show (SDS26) will open its doors from 3rd – 5th February 2026 at the Business Design Centre in London, welcoming visitors and exhibitors from across the World including Europe. From Belgian rugs and textiles to timber from The Netherlands, SDS26 is set to showcase an impressive range of international craftsmanship and design. This year’s show is poised to be a true cultural hub, celebrating creativity and innovation from all over Europe.

 To demonstrate this broad insight into materials and surfaces, the exhibition will feature renowned companies from across Europe, all of which are engaging with the show’s focus on Material Evolution, exploring sustainability and inventive reuse. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover transformative design and unique textures through exhibitors from Belgium, Portugal, The Netherlands and Turkiye to name but a few.

Founded in the early 90s by Katia Dewitte and her husband Phillippe Hanet, Belgium company Limited Edition is devoted to creating luxurious, custom-made rugs for the residential and commercial market. With over 30 years of experience, Limited Edition still manages to stay 100 percent designed and made in Belgium. Its local and personal touch is crucial to the ethos of the brand. Together, they founded the ‘Le Tissage’ group, specialising in spinning, dyeing, tufting and weaving to create premier flooring products which are commercialised under two renowned brands on the market: Limited Edition and 2TEC2. Both companies provide made to measure products, unique and custom pieces as well as always promising high-quality, durable and natural materials. They will bring brand new collections to the 2026 Surface Design Show including: Vintage Eco, Lakeside Nano, Samoa Geo and Showtime Cloud. With these new collections Limited Edition and 2TEC2 ensures that their rugs go beyond visual appeal, offering soft, interesting textures that soothe and enhance acoustics. They aim to transform spaces into sanctuaries that bring emotional comfort and nourish the soul.

Artellion is a German company creating innovative and reliable surface options through bespoke finish development. Artellion specialises in rich textures, surfaces and finishes for both indoor and outdoor applications, with durable materials  that are also non-combustible. Artellion serves as the ideal material to bring architects’ and designers’ imaginations to life.

ACL (A Cimenteria do Louro S.A) is a Portuguese brand dedicated to transforming concrete into inspiring, high-performance surfaces, utilising over 50 years of expertise. Known for a bold and innovative spirit, ACL rethinks concrete as a versatile medium of expression in contemporary design. At this year’s Surface Design Show, ACL will showcase innovative solutions that redefine design possibilities and demonstrate its commitment to sustainability. Key highlights include Slimcrete, ACL’s line of flexible concrete combining lightweight properties with strength, as well as its ceramic deck, which offers the natural look of wood with the durability of ceramics and requiring no maintenance. ACL will also present new wall coverings offering distinctive textures and Cobogos; decorative concrete elements that play with light and shadow.

SDS 2026 will be joined by a trio of Dutch brands: marquetry ateliers Finemarq, salvaged wood wall makers Wonderwall Studios and exclusive textile wallcovering suppliers Dutch Walltextile.

Finemarq designs high-end marquetry for luxury yacht interiors, prime residential, luxury hotels and hospitality. It develops luxurious, refined and prestigious marquetry using innovative production techniques paired with a highly professional tea.

Creative studio, Wonderwall Studios is dedicated to designing distinctive salvaged wood panelling. Inspired by abandoned houses in Southeast Asia, Wonderwall started in 2010, employing skilled woodworkers from Java, Indonesia, since then its collection has grown, and its network has become global. Wonderwall Studios will host drinks at its stand on opening night where visitors can view the most recent collection which includes Dune Teak and Wicker Teak, both of which are handcrafted in Indonesia from reclaimed Teak – Dune drawing its inspiration from flowing sand dunes and Wicker featuring modular elements that can be arranged in patterns or randomly. Dutch Walltextile (DWC), founded in 2014, is a family-owned company with a passion for textiles and interior design. Globally acclaimed for its craftsmanship and inventive approach, its Amsterdam-based production team meticulously designs and manufactures each collection in its own factory, always guaranteeing exceptional quality and attention to detail. DWC prides itself on transforming acoustic products to be sustainable, aesthetic, design-focused and soft to the touch.

With a strong line up of internationally acclaimed companies this year’s Surface Design Show will showcase the most innovative from across Europe.
