Redical, the real estate owner and operator behind Liverpool’s Clayton Square, has announced the opening of Savers, the health and beauty retailer. The launch marks the brand’s debut in Liverpool city centre, and means Clayton Square is now 100 percent let.
Spanning 3,151 sq ft, Savers has opened to further extend the scheme’s health and beauty offer. The store stocks a range of products that span haircare, skincare, perfume, beauty, and wellbeing essentials.
Dan Tucker, Asset Manager at Redical, commented: “Clayton Square is differentiated in Liverpool because we prioritise giving customers the best selection of essential retailers, which Savers adds to. That its launch returns the centre to being fully let makes it a double win too, and highlights Clayton Square’s appeal as a desirable location for key brands due to its strong footfall that comes from being at the centre of the city.”
Clare Jennings, Property Director at Savers, added: “We’re excited to be opening our brand-new store in Clayton Square. Opening in this area was an important next step in growing Saver’s footprint in the area due to its strong footfall among our already existing loyal, local shoppers. This marks an exciting milestone for our customers in Liverpool and we’re proud to bring a wide range of products to the city centre.”
Clayton Square was acquired by Redical in 2021 as its debut centre in its growing portfolio of ‘core plus’ assets, which now also includes Victoria Leeds and The Liberty in Romford. As with its other assets, Redical has deployed its unique ‘transformation through accumulation’ asset management strategy to successfully evolve and enhance the Clayton Square.
