Spitalfields E1, the market destination for East London has welcomed three exciting new food and drink operators this spring. Joining the iconic East London destination are The Açaí Girls, an all-day healthy eating concept inspired by the travels of founding sisters Georgia and Megan, Double O Martini Bar, offering a refined take on classic cocktails; and Funky Chips, a cult-favourite landing on Lamb Street, the destination’s thriving street-food hub.

The Açaí Girls opens its fourth London location on Brushfield Street, bringing its vibrant, plant-based menu to the heart of Spitalfields. Founded by sisters Megan and Georgia, the concept draws on their travels across the world, celebrating fresh, high-quality ingredients and globally inspired flavours. Signature açai bowls and smoothies are made using fairtrade açaí, alongside an all-day menu of colourful, nourishing dishes that allow you to eat what you want, when you want.

Over on Market Street, the team behind The Spirited introduces Double O Martini Bar, a cocktail-led concept centred around the martini. Rooted in tradition but underpinned by creativity, the bar will celebrate the classic in all its forms, from timeless serves to more playful interpretations. Set within a stylish, intimate space, Double O Martini Bar is set to become the new go-to for evening drinks in Spitalfields.

Arriving at Lamb Street’s street food hub, Funky Chips brings its flavour-packed concept to Spitalfields’ thriving food scene. Made with hand-cut fresh potatoes and signature sauces, its much-loved loaded fries add a bold, playful punch to the Lamb Street line-up.

Jason Dervin, Spitalfields Estate Director, says: “We are delighted to welcome three exceptional new operators to Spitalfields, each adding something new to the destination’s evolving food and drink offer. These openings reflect the quality, variety and energy that continue to shape Spitalfields, and we look forward to welcoming visitors and local communities to discover them this spring.”

Together, these openings build on Spitalfields’ established mix of food and drink destinations, further strengthening its position as one of London’s most exciting places to eat, drink and discover.
