Slazenger has announced plans to open a flagship Padel Club at Frasers Plus Braehead to bring premium padel facilities to more people across the UK. This move further cements Slazenger Padel as a provider of the world’s fastest growing sport and reinforces Frasers Group’s commitment to investing in Scotland.
Slazenger Padel Braehead will mark another key opening for the brand as it continues to strengthen its portfolio of multi-purpose destinations that blend sport, socialising and elite facilities. The Club will feature 10 panoramic padel courts, expert coaching at all levels, communal social spaces – including a member’s bar – a pro shop and equipment hire to ensure the needs of athletes at all levels are catered to.
A Slazenger Padel spokesperson commented: “As Slazenger quickly becomes a leading force in padel, the opening of Slazenger Padel Braehead represents an exciting moment for the brand as we continue to make padel more accessible to communities across the UK.
The continued growth of padel highlights a clear shift towards more social, experience-led sport, and this opening further reflects our focus on creating destinations that go beyond courts, building environments where people can play, train and socialise in a single space.”
In addition to reinforcing Frasers Group’s commitment to enhancing its sports and leisure proposition, This opening builds on the momentum of Slazenger Padel Leeds in October 2024, Swindon in 2025, and Blackburn in February 2026. The continued expansion highlights Slazenger’s belief in the long-term growth of the sport as demand continues to surge.
