Co-op’s newly launched app, ‘Peckish’, is making its festival debut at the Sky presents Isle of Wight Festival this weekend.

Co-op has been making shopping more convenient for festival goers at Isle of Wight since 2019 and this year operates two stores at the event. Co-op’s Grab and Go store is located in Electric Ladyland with everything needed to help revellers ‘survive and thrive’ at the festival – from cold drinks, meal deals and ice, to sunscreen and wipes.

This year, to make shopping even easier, Co-op also has a click and collect site at the Mellow Yellow Campsite for orders placed via its new ‘Peckish’ App. Revellers simply need to download the Peckish App, order their festival essentials and then, collect and go.

James Pogson, Co-op Marketing and Propositions for Peckish, said: “We are delighted that the Peckish App is rocking-up to help make life easier for festival-goers at the Isle of Wight festival this weekend. Everything needed is just a few taps away, from soft drinks, beers and wines to ice, toothpaste, sunscreen and more. Our focus is always on making life easier and more convenient.”

More information about Co-op at the Sky presents Isle of Wight Festival including details of deals, member prices and, member-only competitions, is available here.

Co-op will be available at nine of the hottest UK festivals this summer.

Peckish was unveiled earlier this year and is primarily designed to enable small, often family-owned, independent grocery businesses, shops and other co-operative retail societies to provide an online grocery shopping service to their local customers. The Peckish app overcomes barriers that independent retailers all-to-often face when moving to sell online, including cost, scale and resource, it allows smaller-scale bricks and mortar retailers to have a presence online and enter the growing quick commerce market. Independent retails wanting more information about Peckish should contact peckish@coop.co.uk.
