Livingston Designer Outlet is strengthening its food and beverage lineup with a pipeline of new openings set to arrive over the coming months, reinforcing the centre’s evolution into a multi-purpose destination across retail, dining and leisure.

The first addition, Tikka Nation, will open its doors at the centre this Saturday. The new arrival is set to bring contemporary street food to Livingston Designer Outlet, giving customers a casual dining experience with bold flavours and have strong appeal for families and younger visitors. The brand will further diversify the outlet’s food offering and strengthen the position as a go-to destination for different types of food in the region.

The highly anticipated arrival of Sides, the Sidemen’s fried chicken restaurant, will also join the centre’s line up this spring. Sides will bring its cult-favourite fried chicken menu to Livingston Designer Outlet, serving up big flavours, and indulgent sides in a casual dining experience that’s already proved hugely popular with fans across the UK. Whilst local delicatessen and tasting bar, Hamilton & Brown is also set to open this spring too.

Collectively, the new openings will continue to drive momentum for the F&B category at Livingston Designer Outlet, which is already the largest category in the outlet, accounting for 18 percent of total sales in 2025.

Alongside its growing F&B portfolio, Livingston Designer Outlet continues to broaden its overall destination appeal. The recent announcement of immersive entertainment space, Flip Out, is set to join its leisure lineup alongside the existing offering which includes Vue cinema. The increasing emphasis of the dining and leisure elements underline the centre’s strategic transition from a traditional retail environment to a destination spanning retail, dining and leisure.

Nicky Lovell, Head of Outlets and Business Development at Global Mutual said: “Demand for high quality F&B offerings continues to grow, and the new openings demonstrate the confidence in Livingston Designer Outlet as a destination where these brands can succeed. With F&B accounting for a significant share of sales, the category is playing an increasingly important role in driving footfall. The addition of Tikka Nation along Sides and Hamilton & Brown, strengthens our existing offer and supports the goal of becoming a key regional destination for retail, dining of leisure.”
