Danish furniture and sleeping retailer JYSK, has announced a record-breaking turnover +12.6 percent YoY for UK/IE covering financial year 2024/25. Customer growth has also increased more than 11 percent YoY, with an addition of +275,000 customers taking the total to over 2.5 million shoppers in the last 12 months. JYSK continues to have strong development in the indoor furniture, homeware, and textiles categories, while also seeing increase in the sleepware category. YoY saw an +11 percent increase in units sold across sleeping and living categories which were some of the key drivers of the annual growth.

During the fiscal year, JYSK celebrated a number of local market initiatives to continue their expansion and strengthen their offering for customers. JYSK IE opened two new stores in Cork Blackpool and Tullamore, which saw the total of Irish stores increase to 26. Elsewhere, JYSK’s first local UK and IE distribution centred located in Dublin completed its first 12-months of trading. Since its introduction, the local market has seen significantly reduced delivery times to customers thanks to the localised logistical support and streamlined supply chain.

Country Director for JYSK UK & IRE, Roni Tuominen, said: “We’re delighted with the continued growth for JYSK across the UK and IE markets. The results speak volumes and clearly show that our proposition continues to appeal to new customers in both markets. This success would not be possible without the dedication of our great teams in stores and support functions.

We’re continuing to strengthen our offerings across the board to bring us closer to our customers whether that is via product development, great offers, or streamlining our logistics strategy. We are confident that JYSK will continue to be a go-to for customers in both markets and we look forward to what FY26 will bring in terms of growth and development.”
