The brand’s first Scottish outlet builds on a period of significant investment at Livingston Designer Outlet, including Nike’s recent store upsize, as the destination strengthens its offer ahead of the critical Christmas trading period.
Livingston Designer Outlet has secured global fashion brand Hollister for its first outlet in Scotland, with an 8,000 sq ft store set to open at the destination this winter. The signing represents a significant retail first for the destination and reinforces its appeal for international brands seeking to expand their outlet presence in Scotland.
The store will occupy the unit vacated by Nike, following the brand’s landmark upsize and relocation to a significantly expanded store within the destination. Together, the two deals highlight the continued demand for space at Livingston Designer Outlet. Hollister will join Livingston Designer Outlet’s established fashion line-up, including Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger and Levi’s, further strengthening the destination’s designer brand offering ahead of the critical Christmas and peak trading period.

The signing builds on a period of strong leasing momentum and continued investment at Livingston Designer Outlet. This year has included refit commitments from Castore and NEXT, and the new lettings to Flip Out, Tikka Nation and Hamilton & Brown, as the destination enters its next phase of growth alongside Nike’s landmark upsizing.
Nicky Lovell, Head of Outlets and Retail Business Development at Global Mutual, said: “We are very excited to be welcoming Hollister to Livingston. It’s a great addition that broadens our fashion offer and gives younger shoppers another reason to visit.
“Securing its first Scottish outlet, alongside Nike’s recent upsize, shows real brand confidence in Livingston. It also comes at an important time, ahead of the key Christmas trading period.”
