Cards for Good Causes, the UK not-for-profit charity card and gift retailer, today announced exciting new partnerships with three leading UK charities – Prostate Cancer UK, RNIB (Royal National Institute of Blind People), and Trussell.

Christine Ansell, CEO at Cards for Good Causes, said: “We’re delighted to welcome these wonderful new charities on board for the 2025 season. Prostate Cancer UK, RNIB, and Trussell each do incredible work, and it’s an honour to help amplify their impact through our retail platform. Our mission has always been to connect people with the causes they care about – and this expansion reflects our continued commitment to making every card and gift count for good.”

Each year Cards for Good Causes supports more than 80 charities and 40 local communities through the sale of their popular charity Christmas cards and goods. The charities represented cover multiple sectors including cancer care, animal welfare, mental health, hospice, children’s services and many more, offering customers the opportunity to purchase beautiful Christmas cards whilst supporting causes they care about.

Cards for Good Causes cards promote the essence of the festive season, bringing people together and supporting others through giving.

Marking this new partnership, Seren Evans, Head of Events and Community Fundraising at Prostate Cancer UK, said: “Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men, with 1 in 8 getting diagnosed. We are so grateful for the support from Cards for Good Causes. This partnership will help Prostate Cancer UK fund lifesaving research to stop this disease damaging the lives of men and their loved ones. Everyone who supports Prostate Cancer UK has their own story, all united with a common aim to see a world where men’s lives are not limited by prostate cancer.”

Following on from this, Abby Walker, Director of Retail at Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) said: “We’re really looking forward to Christmas this year and particularly to be partnering with Cards for Good Causes to help even more people share festive joy with friends and family. RNIB has a wide range of Christmas cards for everyone, including one available through Cards for Good Causes with a greeting in braille so everyone can be part of the magic of the season.

Every day, 250 people in the UK begin to lose their sight, and we know that figure is set to increase. Through partnering with Cards for Good Causes we will be able to support vital work to remove barriers and make a more accessible world for blind and partially sighted people. So please do make a choice to gift a card that makes a difference.”

This new collaboration will make a difference to communities across the UK. A spokesperson from Trussell said: “We are honoured and excited to be partnering with Cards for Good Causes, who have been supporting charities for over 50 years. This partnership will help food banks in the Trussell community continue to be there for people facing hunger in the UK and help provide a lifeline of emergency support as we work towards a future where everyone can afford the essentials. Last year alone, food banks in our community provided nearly 3 million parcels to people experiencing hardship – we are grateful for the support that this partnership will provide as we work to meet these consistently high levels of need.”

Cards for Good Causes’ charity Christmas cards will launch online at www.cardsforcharity.co.uk from the beginning of September.

They will also be available across their network of pop-up shops opening in October. As well as cards, customers can shop for advent calendars, decorations, gift wrap and seasonal gifts – with every purchase helping to raise vital funds for charities and local communities.
