Merry Hill, one of the top 10 UK super-regional centres owned and operated by Redical, has announced the opening of Bodycare’s new Studio Store concept, adding a fresh health and beauty offer to its evolving retail mix.

The 3,000 sq ft store features the health and beauty retailer’s new format, combining Bodycare’s everyday value with dedicated spaces for discovery, entertainment and community activity. At its heart is a fully equipped professional Creator Studio, available free of charge to local creators. For Merry Hill, the launch adds another experiential and community-led element to its all-day offer, giving customers another reason to visit and spend time at the centre, beyond a traditional shopping trip.

The arrival of Bodycare bolsters Merry Hill’s health and wellness offer, giving customers greater choice across an increasingly in-demand category. Its broad mix of beauty, personal care, wellness and everyday essentials, complements the centre’s existing retailers, supporting customers looking for accessible products and value as well as brand new brands, trends and experiences.

Alistair Winning, Leasing Manager for Redical, commented: “Merry Hill is constantly evolving to reflect the needs and expectations of our catchment, and Bodycare’s new Studio Store is a great example of how we are continuing to broaden and strengthen our offer. Its combination of health and beauty, and community activity aligns perfectly with our wider all-day proposition, while bringing something fresh and engaging to our customers, giving them another reason to visit time and time again.”

David Stern, Managing Director of Bodycare, added: “We’re re-introducing Bodycare in a completely new way, creating stores that combine outstanding value with discovery, creativity and community. Merry Hill and its community focus was an obvious choice for our next Studio Store concept, with access to a diverse catchment and high footfall that we know will be receptive to our health and beauty experience.”
