Springfields Outlet and Leisure continues to grow year on year, reinforcing its position as having one of the strongest growth rates in the UK on the back of 17 years sales increases, bar-Covid. Weekly sales have consistently delivered double-digit growth, with the highest weekly sales on record being beaten on four consecutive weeks in this Christmas period. Christmas late night shopping turnover has proved particularly strong. The Winter Wonderland Christmas Walk has been increased in size and demand for tickets are substantially up on 2022. This event, together with the sold-out November fireworks, make Springfields a repeat family destination for the whole region.

“We are delighted to announce these results. Every week in the run up to Christmas we have beaten our previous records. Demand for the whole Christmas experience at outlet prices is driving these exceptional trading results. We are seeing the quality of turnover improve dramatically as we continue to attract higher spending guests and higher density brands,” said Ian Sanderson, Director of Springfields Outlet & Leisure and SLR Outlets.

Springfields’ unique mix of retail, leisure and 25 acres of award-winning gardens is the winning formula for retail destinations today. Conceived, developed and asset managed by SLR Outlets for the UBS managed Triton Property Fund LP, this combination is exactly what guests are looking for. Giving everyone what they want with a perfect shopping experience set in an uplifting healthy green environment. A great mix of sensory experiences coming together to deliver positivity and enhancing visitors’ mental health.

All segments are showing growth with very strong results for fashion, athleisure, and home and garden. The food and beverage sector is also booming with restaurants and cafés extending visitor time and spend.
