Returning for its fourth consecutive year, the British Institute of Interior Design (BIID) is excited to announce that this year’s award ceremony will be hosted by Irish broadcaster, author and podcaster, Angela Scanlon.
Well known for hosting a variety of shows across the BBC and RTÉ, Angela has presented high-profile shows including The One Show, BBC Two’s hit interior design show, Your Home Made Perfect and coverage of The BAFTAs. Her success then earned her a prime-time spot hosting her own Saturday night chat show on RTÉ One, titled ‘Angela Scanlon’s Ask Me Anything’, as well as hosting a weekend breakfast show on Virgin Radio, taking over from Graham Norton in 2024.
BIID President Angela Bardino comments, “We’re delighted Angela will be hosting this year’s much anticipated awards ceremony. Growing year on year, the BIID Interior Design Awards is a chance to celebrate our exciting industry, honouring outstanding residential and commercial design projects, large or small. The awards also provide a platform for designers from all over the country and now internationally to have their exceptional work recognised. Angela’s wit and infectious energy will enthral guests and make this year’s awards ceremony on 23rd October one to remember.”
The magnificent Drapers’ Hall in the City of London will once again host the awards luncheon and ceremony. The grand livery hall will welcome members of the interior design community from across the globe to celebrate our shortlisted entrants’ exceptional achievements. Tickets for the 2025 awards ceremony are now available for purchase here.
