Superdrug unveils its largest UK store at Redical’s Merry Hill

Superdrug has officially relaunched its refurbished store at Merry Hill, owned and operated by Redical, following a major transformation, making it the largest store in the retailer’s UK estate. The relaunch marks the latest milestone in Superdrug’s ongoing investment in its bricks-and-mortar portfolio.

Now spanning 12,831 sq ft, the transformed store will create 15 new permanent roles, alongside 10 seasonal positions over the Christmas period. The investment forms part of Superdrug’s wider expansion plans, which will see the retailer open 30 new stores across the UK this year.

To celebrate the reopening, customers visiting on opening day can enjoy a live DJ set, while the first 50 shoppers through the doors will receive a £10 Superdrug voucher.

Inside, customers will find an even wider range of international and trending beauty brands, including Biodance and Medicube, alongside much-loved Superdrug own-brand favourites such as Studio London, B. Skin, Me+, Vitamin E and Optimum. The refurbished store also features an extensive premium fragrance collection, bringing some of the latest and most popular scents together under one roof, as well as a pharmacy, aesthetics clinic and piercing studio.

Superdrug is also continuing the expansion of its accredited Aesthetics Clinic offering with the reopening of the refreshed store, registered with CQC (Care Quality Commission), marking another milestone in the retailer’s commitment to delivering safe, accessible and regulated aesthetic treatments on the high street.

Customers can also make the most of their visits by signing up to Superdrug’s Health & Beautycard and VIP Rewards programmes. Members can earn points on purchases and redeem them at a later date, as well as accessing exclusive benefits including lower prices, bonus point promotions, birthday treats and the option to pay with points.
