• Mowchi, Amorino, and DumDum Donutterie have signed leases at London Designer Outlet
  • Their arrivals further expand LDO’s array of F&B brands following the opening of Afrikana
  • LDO’s F&B operators are benefitting from Wembley’s busiest ever year with more events taking place than ever before

London Designer Outlet (LDO) has announced that Mowchi, Amorino, and DumDum Donutterie will become its newest F&B operators after agreeing to take a combined 2,505 sq ft of space.

Innovative café brand Mowchi is set to open its doors at London Designer Outlet (LDO) later this year, after signing a 10-year lease for a 1,385 sq ft space. Known for its expertly crafted coffee, premium matcha, bubble tea, and Japanese-inspired sandos, baos and viral desserts, Mowchi has quickly become a go-to destination for cosy vibes and indulgent treats. With a growing number of locations across London and beyond, the brand is expanding its footprint across the UK.

Growing international gelato chain Amorino will occupy a 702 sq ft space after signing a 10-year lease. Founded outside Paris, Amorino has started to expand its presence in the UK opening a series of outlets across city and town centres. Specialising in natural Italian gelato, free from artificial colours or flavours, Amorino has become a popular favourite among ice cream lovers thanks to its breadth of flavours and products.

British, family owned business, DumDum Donutterie, founded in 1997, was inspired by its ambition to create a delicious blend of baked craft donuts and artisan patisseries that are never deep fried.

These creative ideas have captured the imagination of Londoners wanting donuts with a difference making it one of capital’s most loved brands. This has led to DumDum opening a series of new instore locations across London and the UK, with LDO set to become the operator’s first outlet location after signing a 10-year lease for a 418 sq ft unit.

These new arrivals follow the opening of another fast-growing F&B chain Afrikana, who have taken 2,688 sq ft of space at LDO. The outlet has become a great location for expanding F&B brands, as well as grab-and-go providers, thanks to the wide array of customers who visit LDO and the wider Wembley Park area throughout the year.

LDO’s F&B operators benefit from the outlet’s diverse array of visitors thanks to a record-breaking events calendar for the stadium and arena. In 2024, LDO’s restaurants, cafes, and eateries saw 5.8 percent increase in sales during event and match days with visitors sampling both new emerging brands as well as established favourites such as Nandos, Pizza Express and Wagamama’s.

Matt Slade, Retail Director at Quintain, said: “Our visitors are always keen to experience and explore the latest food trends and at LDO we want to be at the forefront of offering a real mix of innovative and established F&B brands. These three new arrivals are a perfect fit for LDO as their creative array of products are already a hit amongst Londoners and their arrivals will attract visitors from across the capital, helping to cement our position as London’s outlet destination.

A strong diverse F&B offer is a key factor in creating a successful retail outlet and having a range of operators from new brands like Mowchi, Amorino, DumDum and Afrikana, through to household favourites such as Nandos and Wagamama’s, allows us to keep bringing in customers from across London and beyond. With Wembley’s action-packed events calendar, we are seeing increased demand from F&B operators keen to take space at LDO to capture this high footfall. These brands alongside the wide array of activities and community spaces across Wembley Park, including a new wildflower garden, allow us to provide a full family day-out and with exciting new additions it keeps them coming back for more.”

Hubert Attali, Master Franchisee at Amorino, said: “Bringing Amorino to LDO is an exciting moment for us. We’re eager to share our passion for authentic Italian gelato with the LDO community and believe our arrival will perfectly complement the area.”

Managed by Multi-Realm – the UK’s specialist outlet operator – LDO offers 265,000 sq ft of retail and leisure space, including 70 outlet stores, restaurants, and coffee shops.
