Alo, the premium fashion and lifestyle brand renowned for luxury apparel rooted in mind-body wellness, proudly announces the opening of its newest global destination at the exclusive Mandarin Oriental, Bodrum. This debut features a signature boutique and immersive beach club experience, marking Alo’s second retail footprint in Turkey following the successful launch of its Istanbul location last year, in partnership with Soho Group, the region’s leading premium lifestyle retailer.

Opened on 1st May, the 700 sq ft shop-in-shop brings Alo’s elevated design sensibility to the Aegean coast. The exterior is wrapped in iroko wood treated with the traditional Shou Sugi Ban technique, creating a rich, charred finish that contrasts beautifully with the store’s light-filled interior. Inside, warm white oak millwork, matte black accents, and a lush green plant ceiling – an Alo first – create a dynamic, sensory experience in a compact yet impactful space.

The Alo Beach Club transforms the Mandarin Oriental, Bodrum’s private shoreline into a seasonal sanctuary for movement, mindfulness, and luxury living. Inspired by the property’s stunning setting – nestled within lush gardens of centuries-old pine and olive trees and an array of blooming flora – the design seamlessly integrates with nature. The loungers, sun chairs, and decor are crafted from locally sourced materials, including premium cotton blends for towels and seating, and a colour palette of espresso, gravel, and bone tones to reflect the surrounding environment. Structures are constructed from natural oak and pine, honouring the region’s rich craftsmanship.

A custom Alo-branded coconut cart will offer guests a refreshing beachside moment, operated directly by the hotel with coconuts available for purchase. Alo’s influence also extends to the hotel’s beach menu presentation, which now features Alo-branded elements while retaining the Mandarin Oriental’s culinary offerings.

From May through September, the resort will host exclusive wellness activations featuring international Alo instructors. Integrated into the spa and wellness schedule, the programming includes:

  • Sunrise yoga
  • Sound healing
  • Meditation
  • Pilates
  • Outdoor strength and conditioning workouts
  • Face yoga sessions

These activations are integrated into the Mandarin Oriental’s spa and wellness programming to offer a full-spectrum experience for mind and body.

“Our presence in Bodrum allows us to authentically connect with a global community seeking elevated wellness experiences,” said Danny Harris, Co-CEO and Co-Founder of Alo. “This new space brings the full Alo lifestyle to life at the intersection of travel, wellness, and fashion.”

“The launch of Alo in Bodrum is more than just a retail expansion. It’s a cultural moment that blends wellness, style, and lifestyle in one of the most iconic destinations in the Mediterranean,” added Abdelrahman Ismeik, CEO of Soho Group. “We are proud to be part of creating this immersive experience at the Mandarin Oriental Bodrum.”

Bodrum has become a favourite summer escape for the international style set, and the launch of Alo’s boutique and beach club brings a fresh expression of luxury wellness to the region – where studio culture meets sea breeze.
