Velocity Commerce celebrates FT 1000 hattrick

Cambridge-based business, Velocity Commerce, has been named one of Europe’s fastest growing companies in the FT 1000 report for the third year in a row. With an absolute revenue growth of 246.8% and revenue CAGR of 51.4%, Velocity Commerce is the 644th fastest growing company in Europe.

Established by Eddie Latham and PJ Scott in 2013, Velocity Commerce manages and retails products on Amazon and eBay for a variety of partners, including: Sony, LEGO and Nextbase, and also sells its own brand of radios – Majority, the second largest brand of radios in the UK by volume sold.

Over the past 12 months, Velocity Commerce has focused on expanding the Amazon agency side of its business and now has a strong – and growing – team of specialists in the world’s largest online retail platform. Velocity Commerce offers a full-service Amazon consultancy with key areas of expertise including: Amazon marketing, Amazon content optimisation, Amazon SEO, copywriting, graphic design, data and analytics, international sales and Amazon merchandising.

The FT 1000, compiled by the Financial Times with Statista, lists the European companies that achieved the highest compound annual growth rate in revenue between 2016 and 2019. At the end of 2020, Velocity Commerce was also listed 77th on the Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100 league table 2020 which ranks Britain’s private companies with the fastest-growing sales.
