Music venture is helping UK businesses ‘tune-in to Christmas’ with music licensing guide

Leicester-based music licensing company, PPL PRS Limited is hoping to support businesses and organisations this festive season by offering them a free Christmas music licensing guide to help them understand more about using music and how it could help them to make the most out of the season ahead.

The guide, which is available to download from their website, offers advice for all businesses who are currently using music, or are thinking about introducing it over the Christmas period. This includes those who may want to play some festive background music to entertain their staff and customers and those who are planning to use music at live performances, discos and other festive events.

It also includes guidance for local authorities and councils who may be thinking about using music at annual festive public events such as Christmas light switch-ons, local Christmas markets and firework displays.

Now that the majority of sectors are operating as normal again in time for the festive period, many businesses may wish to introduce seasonal music this year and enjoy the many benefits of playing it, whether this is enhancing the atmosphere, boosting staff morale or helping to create that festive ‘feel’ at seasonal events.
