The Harris Partnership retail completes in Croydon

This month sees the completion of a major redevelopment on Purley Way in Croydon designed by The Harris Partnership (THP) for client Reef Estates Ltd.

The £6million scheme began in May 2020 and features three new retail units on the site of a former car park:  a 19,800sqft Aldi; 13,100sqft Smyths Toys store and a smaller 2,500 sqft unit, earmarked for a coffee shop.

Peter Langly-Smith, Development Director for Reef Group says, “We are delighted with the imminent completion of our Purley Way scheme and as always it was a pleasure working with The Harris Partnership, alongside the wider team, to deliver such a high quality and sustainable scheme during such challenging times”

Malcolm Cross, THP Associate (Milton Keynes) says, “Despite the challenges of the past year we have delivered Purley Way, Croydon and a number of other retail schemes throughout the UK, which demonstrates that developers and investors are optimistic about the future of retail and leisure.”
