St David’s adds Lifestyle Double with Skechers and Ted Baker Openings

The St David’s Partnership has enhanced its international retail line-up with the openings of lifestyle brands Ted Baker and Skechers at one of the UK’s premier retail and leisure destinations, St David’s Cardiff.

From their new 2,800 sq ft unit on the Grand Arcade, Ted Baker has added to the growing list of international fashion brands to have opened at St David’s in the last 18 months. Ted Baker’s circus-themed store was designed by the brand’s in-house team, providing a full range of their designer clothing and accessories for men and women.

Joining Ted Baker at St David’s is international lifestyle and footwear brand, Skechers. The new 5,229 sq ft store offers the brand’s range of high-quality, innovative, and comfortable footwear styles. Created by an in-house team, the new store incorporates eclectic colours and an interior configuration that reflect the brand’s bright, athletic concept.

Commenting on the openings on behalf of the St David’s Partnership, a joint venture between Landsec and intu, Kate Grant, intu’s regional managing director, said: “Both Ted Baker and Skechers have international popularity, and will sit perfectly amongst St David’s distinctive global lifestyle offering, alongside the likes of Footasylum and The White Company. They will no doubt appeal to St David’s shoppers as they visit the destination to fulfil all of their fashion needs.”

These openings at St David’s come as the destination celebrates the 10th anniversary of ‘St David’s 2’ with launches for a number of brands.
