A Hertfordshire-based signage specialist is celebrating a strong year of success at FASTSIGNS St Albans.
Lee Simpson, signage expert and managing director at the branch is marking one year at the helm of the franchise after joining forces with SIM2000 Imaging, a company of his own creation in October 2020.
The one year anniversary comes amidst a string of successes, including a handful of new appointments and an exciting portfolio of completed projects.
During the pandemic, the centre demonstrated its agility and strength by assisting a range of companies in making their premises Covid-compliant, resulting in an upsurge in enquiries for its services.
To bolster the team’s service capabilities throughout this time, the St Albans centre made two new recruits, appointing a production manager as well as an outside sales professional.
The franchise also grew its network of customers, with household names and automotive brands including Aston Martin and Bentley choosing the signage expert as their supplier.
Its partnership with British independent manufacturer of luxury sports cars, Aston Martin, involved creating bespoke graphics for its fleet of demonstration vehicles.
Further work with British manufacturer and marketer of luxury cars, Bentley Motors Limited, required the team to create and fit a range of outdoor exhibition displays.
Commenting on the franchise’s year of success, Lee Simpson, managing director at FASTSIGNS St Albans, said: “The signage industry has fared well during the pandemic, and has shown just how dynamic it can be amidst adversity. It’s been a challenging year and a half for the whole nation, but it’s been fantastic to celebrate so many successes with the rest of the team. We’ve not only grown but worked on some truly fantastic projects too.
To have been able to work with such well-established British brands such as Aston Martin and Bentley, is testament to our team’s hard work and determination to succeed. I look forward to seeing what the future holds, and I’m excited to have already begun laying the groundwork for the year ahead.”
Moving into 2022, Lee plans to add an apprentice to the production process and has set his sights on increasing the franchise’s turnover.
