Sloane Stanley has announced the entrance of two seasonal pop-ups to the King’s Road, Chelsea’s iconic shopping destination. Lotta Camilla Teale, the award-winning figurative oil painter, is showing her first solo in-person art exhibition in a week-long pop-up at 340 King’s Road. Additionally, luxury women’s clothing brand, Guinea, has launched a pop-up at 336 King’s Road for the second year running, and will be in residence until October 24.
After finding herself unexpectedly living in both Thailand and Kenya due to the pandemic, Lotta utilised the extraordinary painting opportunities each country presented, as well as locally available materials, to produce the 75 bespoke oil paintings that make up the ‘Breakfasts in Bangkok’ exhibition. The collection consists of a large variety of new ‘Plein Air’ scenes ranging from pagodas to beaches, in addition to still life works of local fruits, household objects and antiques. Visitors to the 1,178 sq ft Sloane Stanley pop-up will be presented with the rich colours of East Africa and Asia, with the exhibition’s concept being to evoke memories of a calmer time and allowing people a moment to breathe.

Spanning 1,298 sq ft, Guinea’s King’s Road space offers ‘London to Country’ chic apparel ranging from tailored coats and jackets to elegant tops and blouses, all made from the highest quality and sustainable fabrics. With the collection’s strong focus on sustainability, the brand complements previous Sloane Stanley initiatives, including the Sustainable Pop-Up, which took residency at 320 King’s Road in August 2020.
