- Shpock has introduced a large items delivery option to increase the range of products available to buy and sell using its delivery service.
- All deliveries are covered by Shpock’s buyer protection programme.
For the first time, Shpock – the mobile marketplace – has introduced a bulky item delivery option that is super simple, safe and hassle free.
Shpock users can enjoy parcel collection directly from their door – with the courier even providing the label to ensure there is no need for a printer. The item is then conveniently delivered straight to the buyer.
The new delivery option will enable sellers of large heavy items to reach more buyers than ever before by widening the catchment beyond the local areas they were limited to previously: the impracticalities of collecting items from far distances is no longer a barrier.
Not only does the bulky item delivery option avoid the hassle of collections, but it also enables Shpock users to buy and sell heavier items with safe secure delivery.
The mobile marketplace has long promoted its Buyer Protection programme which enables a full refund up to the value of £15,000 to its customers should something go wrong with their purchase – for example, if it fails to arrive or is not as described.
The buyer protection is not valid on collection deals and so buyers and sellers using the platform for bulky items can now enjoy full protection which they could not previously.
The buyer protection is added automatically upon using the BUY NOW button to cover for any delivery payments. All money is held by Shpock until confirmation is provided by the buyer that the item has been received and meets expectations.
The bulky item delivery option is available using Parcel2Go via Parcelforce and Shpock users can now make the most of the three price points:
- £10.56 up to 25kg (Max. length: 1.5m, max. length and girth combined: 3m)
- £11.10 up to 30kg (Max. length: 1.5m, max. length and girth combined: 3m)
- £39.47 up to 30kg (Max. length: 2.5m, max. length and girth combined: 4m)
Iyesha Cheema-Bradshaw, Brand and Content Manager at Shpock says: “We are really excited to expand our range of delivery options and open up even more products for users to buy and sell whilst enjoying delivery. Keeping the Shpock community safe is paramount, and users can now have peace of mind knowing they can buy and sell heavier and larger goods through our delivery services whilst being fully protected up to the value of £15,000 with our buyer protection programme.”
