Shoe Zone staff at their Head Office and 380 stores across the UK have raised close to £28,000 this year for Comic Relief.
Store fundraising activities included bake sales, fancy dress days and raffles.
Staff at Shoe Zone HQ donned red clothing and raised £1,738.32 in a day of fun-filled tomfoolery in support of this year’s Comic Relief.
The fundraising day in May saw the whole office in Leicester enjoying a traditional Spring fete event with fun and games like a bake sale, guess the number of sweets in the jar, guess the baby photo, and a raffle.
The head office team also took part in sports-day type races including a four-stage relay race made up of sprinting, balloon pass, red nose and spoon race and penalty shootout.
Across the afternoon staff tested their knowledge in a music competition, played giant Jenga, competed in a stationary cycle race and had a go at Play Your Cards Right with oversized cards.
The more competitive staff enjoyed pool tournaments and table tennis tournaments.
A shoe sample sale and cake sale were also held at Shoe Zone’s warehouse.
Shoe Zone support a number of charities throughout the year, more information can be found here.
