Shaftesbury Announces Opening of Skin Laundry’s First Stand-Alone UK Store in London’s Carnaby

Shaftsebury continues to bring new brands to the Carnaby destination and are delighted to welcome the launch of the first ever stand-alone UK Skin Laundry store and clinic located at No 9 Newburgh Street. The new 690 square foot store is split across two floors and boasts a total of three private treatment rooms. The opening comes after 4 years of huge success and acclaim at neighbouring luxury department store Liberty London.

Samantha Bain-Mollison, Shaftesbury Retail Director comments: “We are delighted that Skin Laundry is opening their first ever UK stand-alone store in Carnaby’s Newburgh Street. With the addition of three treatment rooms, the skincare brand offers a premium beauty experience for the destination. The brand joins the recent retail openings on Newburgh Street including Wax London and Canvas.”

Founded on a belief that the technology and science reshaping skincare today should be available to all people looking to improve or maintain their skin, Skin Laundry has been bridging the gap between medical cosmetics and beauty therapy since their inception in 2013 and is now approaching their millionth treatment.

As well as stocking a vast collection of products available for retail, the new 690 square foot store is split across two floors and boasts a total of three private treatment rooms. Specialists in safe and effective laser facials that are performed by certified laser therapists, the brand offers three different types of treatments which range from £100 to £600 in cost. Enhancements for the neck, chest and hand are also available and start at £30.

While it is widely known that consistency is key the store has launched a brand new Laundry Club membership scheme to help customers achieve the best results possible. Packages start at £100 per month and offer a discount across all treatments, products, and enhancements. The top tier membership, Rejuvenate, is also able to be shared with a partner or a friend.

Skin Laundry also offers a simplified skincare line featuring highly effective daily skincare essentials to help achieve radiant, smooth, glowing “just laundered” skin at home. The essentials collection is both high in efficiency and low in maintenance.

Gregg Throgmartin, CEO at Skin Laundry says: “Following the success of Skin Laundry’s Liberty London concession, it became apparent that we should look to open our own store in the city. The opening of the Newburgh Street clinic is our first ‘bricks and mortar’ occupation in the UK and gives us the space to ensure the safety of our clients and staff, more appointment availability, easy street access, and so much more! While the pandemic has thrown challenges for businesses across the globe – not least in the skincare sector – the time has allowed us to find, design and refurbish our new home in London. We are looking forward to welcoming existing and new clients to the Soho store.”
