RUSSELL HOBBS UNVEIL COLLABORATION WITH EMMA BRIDGEWATER

The nation’s breakfast brand works alongside the iconic British designer to offer consumers stand-out kitchen appliances

A unique partnership is set to grace the nation’s homes, with two beautiful breakfast ranges from Russell Hobbs and Emma Bridgewater.

Established in 1952, and inventors of the world’s first automatic switch-off kettle, Russell Hobbs is one of the UK’s most recognisable household brands. Emma Bridgewater, established in 1985, is a British design brand specialising in hand-made and hand-decorated pottery, based in Stoke-on-Trent. Both companies share brand-values for quality products made for the heart of the classic British home.

The two Russell Hobbs and Emma Bridgewater ranges will be available to buy from exclusively selected retail partners from 15th August and will feature the recognisable Polka Dot and Toast & Marmalade patterns. The striking designs will feature on two flagship heritage Russell Hobbs designs including; 2 slice and 4 slice toasters, and 1.7L and 1.5L kettles.

The designs on the Russell Hobbs and Emma Bridgewater ranges will offer consumers the opportunity to own appliances that take pride of place on kitchen worksurfaces. The Toast & Marmalade design is available in Emma Bridgewater’s classic black and cream colour scheme while Polka Dots has a softer, multi-coloured design.

Russell Hobbs Marketing Manager, Dominic Lewis, commented: “We know that many consumers want kettles and toasters that either add to, or complement their current kitchen style rather than having to hide their appliances away between uses. This partnership offers us a chance to give people a truly unique product, an incredible design-led appliance that still has all of the trusted technology and features that our customers have come to expect of Russell Hobbs.”

Emma Bridgewater said, “We are thrilled to partner with Russell Hobbs, a company known for its quality and sturdiness, whose appliances are well-loved and hold an essential place in British kitchens. In making a lifetime’s worth of pots of tea, I’ve boiled water in an array of kettles, and it’s probably fair to say that the kettle I turn to most often is a trusted one made by Russell Hobbs. Of course, I do usually drink that tea out of an Emma Bridgewater mug.

“It has been immensely rewarding to translate our classic pottery pattern designs onto kettles and toasters with Polka Dot and Toast & Marmalade. I hope people enjoy their breakfast toast and tea from the cheerful breakfast range.”
