REPL Commits to Significant Job Creation Following Record Revenue and Pre-Tax Profit Growth

Retail IT consultancy and technology firm also hit a 13-year streak of growing its customer base

Global retail IT consultancy and technology firm, REPL Group has reported a 30% increase in revenue and 55% growth in pre-tax profit for the financial year 2019/20. The company has also announced plans to hire 100 new full-time employees before the end of the financial year, having overcome the initial challenges of the global COVID-19 pandemic which have profoundly impacted the retail sector.

REPL’s strong financial performance is evidence of its successful organic growth strategy having expanded its global presence in recent years and gained 43 new customers in the last 12 months alone, making it the 13th consecutive year of increasing its customer base. Growth remains a priority for REPL as it looks ahead to the financial year 2020/21, with £2 million set to be invested in sustaining this momentum.

Despite economic uncertainty and a turbulent retail landscape, over the last year, REPL has created more than 50 new jobs, increasing its headcount in several key markets. REPL remains committed to creating new job opportunities and aims to hire an additional 100 people before the end of the financial year. The company has also developed six new partnerships, further strengthening its alliance program and enhancing its deep industry experience across a range of sectors.

This record year of growth coincides with the company receiving Great Place to Work certification, ranking 58th in the UK’s Best Workplaces 2020. This accolade demonstrates REPL’s commitment to its people and is reaffirmed by its recent Excellence in Wellbeing status having received a score of 81% in the Great Place to Work Wellbeing Index Report, vastly exceeding the 75% threshold needed.
