Propability and Flourish Trading deliver springtime windows to Hamleys with TY Beanie Boo window displays

With spring as the theme, Propability designed, manufactured and installed a series of elements to the windows of Hamleys to showcase key merchandise from the TY range in store. Outlines were cut from MDF shapes and scenically painted to produce countryside scenes which were composed together with off the shelf props sourced to dress the windows. In one window, a potting shed allowed for the scheme to have some height and interest and made the windows eye-catching for people on the top deck of a passing bus. All artificial foliage, various pots, grass and flowers were sourced from Propability sister company Flourish Trading. An MDF rickety fence allowed for more product to be dressed at height. Old tools and a ‘Potting Shed’ sign were created to make the scene look more child-like. Due to the tight deadline, the main challenge was to dress and fix everything securely ahead of installation wherever possible.

In another window, Propability artists scenically painted a house in the style of Hansel and Gretel which was then further dressed with TY toys and various other props from Flourish Trading to bring it all to life and add more interest. A second smaller potting shed was also sourced that cleverly produced the illusion of distance. Propability sculpted mounds for the landscape which were then dressed in faux grass and spring flowers together with a blossom tree from Flourish Trading.
