Join Peppa Pig at Westfield London and Westfield Stratford City for Christmas Jumper Day

Westfield London and Westfield Stratford City will be supporting Save the Children for their eighth, annual Christmas Jumper Day charitable celebrations. Festive fun will be sweeping the nation on Friday 13th December, where day-to-day wardrobes will be ditched for Christmassy cardigans and silly sweaters to raise money to make the world a better place for children. However, this year’s celebration will have a bigger, and better twist.

On the 12th December, the eve of Christmas Jumper Day, the nation’s favourite little piggy, Entertainment One’s (eOne) Peppa Pig, will be showcasing her first Christmas charity single, Bing Bong Christmas at both Westfield centres as part of her campaign to reach the Christmas number one top spot. A donation from every stream and download of Bing Bong Christmas will go to Save the Children.

Westfield London and Westfield Stratford City will be a hosting festive family events in honour of Christmas Jumper Day and the release of Bing Bong Christmas. Peppa Pig will be inviting children and families to celebrate the launch at very special Bing Bong discos, where guests will be encouraged to wear their favourite Christmas Jumper whilst they listen to her new single and learn some new dance moves taught by Peppa herself.

The Entertainer will also be providing something extra special for disco attendees to continue the fun at home, including a free Bing Bong Christmas poster that can be redeemed in store, as well as a free Peppa Pig Pets and Pals Figure Pack when shoppers spend £10 on Peppa Pig toys. There is also an exclusive Peppa Pig Christmas Family Pack only available at The Entertainer, and with every purchase made, 50p will be donated to Save the Children.

Myf Ryan, CMO Europe and Group Director of Brand and Strategic Marketing for Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield comments, “We are delighted to be working with Save the Children and their infamous Christmas Jumper Day once again this year. This is the eighth year we have supported the campaign and this year’s Peppa Disco will be hugely popular with families and children getting ready for the festive season. Across our centres we create memorable experiences for our visitors, and this one will be a great one for the family to enjoy whilst raising awareness for our key charity partner.”

Sarah Button-Stephens, Head of Christmas Jumper Day at Save the Children, comments: “We are thrilled to be celebrating our eighth annual Christmas Jumper Day. We have partnered with Westfield since our very first Christmas Jumper Day and each year we create great new and fun events together to celebrate the campaign. This year will be no different with all the activity we have planned working with the Peppa Pig team at eOne. We really hope that Bing Bong Christmas reaches the Christmas number one spot and we’re hugely grateful that a donation will be made to Save the Children from the sale of every single.”

The disco sessions will be open to the public and taking place at 10am and 11am in Westfield London, then moving to Westfield Stratford City for 2pm, 3pm and 4pm. Tickets will be free of charge, but registering for this event is mandatory. Visit EventBrite page here.

Save the Children is expecting over 5 million people across the UK to take part in the biggest, silliest Christmas Jumper Day ever. Simply by sticking on a fabulously festive knit, signing up and donating £2 to Save the Children at, you will be helping give the world’s forgotten children the chance to have a brighter future.
