MAPIC Italy and THE HAPPETITE 2020 Cancelled

Reed MIDEM today announces that MAPIC Italy and THE HAPPETITE, scheduled to take place July 1-2, in Milan, have been cancelled due to ongoing concerns related to Covid-19.

“Despite the recent easing of the lockdown in Italy, there are still on-going restrictions for organized events and so we do not believe that the conditions exist to deliver an optimal business environment for our MAPIC Italy and THE HAPPETITE participants in July. Compromising on health and safety simply isn’t an option,” said Filippo Rean, Director of Reed MIDEM’s Real Estate Division. “We want to thank our customers and partners, particularly the Consiglio Nazionale Centri Commerciali, for their advice, guidance and support throughout these trying times,” he added.

Italian retail and the international Food & Beverage sector will be the subjects of dedicated conferences and events at MAPIC 2020, which takes place in Cannes, France, November 17-19.

MAPIC Italy and THE HAPPETITE will return in 2021.
