Loaf announce two new showrooms outside of London!

Loaf is heading to Guildford with a brand-spanking new showroom, opening mid March. With three bonzer London Shacks under their belt, the sultans of snug are heading to Surrey to open their fourth. Their latest slowroom has found its home in Tunsgate Quarter, Guildford’s brilliant new shopping destination right in the heart of the high street.

Loaf’s 5,000 square foot emporium will have all the essentials for laid-back living. Loafers can take five in the mattress testing area, sit-back on squish-machines and ogle their loafingly lovely wares. As well as retro arcade

games, a colouring station and a football table, there will be an old school-style ice cream parlour for big and little Loafers to enjoy.

Loaf’s founder, Charlie Marshall, says: “Our customers asked and we listened! Loaf’s first Shack outside the capital has arrived. With squishy sofas and oodles of snooze spots, our new Guildford slowroom is our latest homage to the art of loafing. We want visitors to enter our laid-back world, kick off their shoes and relax.”

Stuart Harris, Commercial Director and Co-founder at Queensberry, says: “We’re thrilled that Loaf will be amongst the first shops to open at Tunsgate Quarter. To be home to Loaf’s first store outside London is testament to the unique, high-quality brand mix that we’re curating at the centre, and we look forward to welcoming shoppers from 15th March.” A stone’s throw from Guildford station, the new Shack will be located on the ground floor of the Tunsgate Quarter.

Loaf is also heading north for the first time with a brand new Shack opening in Wilmslow, Cheshire, in May 2018. A stone’s throw from the city of Manchester, Wilmslow will be Loaf’s fifth Shack , showcasing their signature squish-machines, handmade furniture and latest Loafy wares. Situated in an impressive 7,000 sq ft stand-alone building, the Shack will pay homage to life in the slow lane (it’s a slowroom, not a showroom!) . With a mattress testing station, oodles of squishy sofas and arcade games for little (and not-so-little) Loafers to enjoy, it’s a haven for kicking back and relaxing. There’s even an old-school style ice cream parlour called the Churnery where visitors can lap up their favourite flavour scoop!

Loaf founder, Charlie Marshall, says: “It’s high time people in the North of England had a bit of Loaf on their doorstep so they can kick their shoes off in style! Our new Wilmslow Shack is packed full of our squishy sofas, bonzer beds and kicking cabinetry: all basic requirements for a happy life in the slow lane!”

With plenty of on-site parking and a short stroll from the station, Loaf can’t wait to introduce their laid-back world to Wilmslow.
