WH Smith Victoria marks national launch of Core Bolt mobile accessories

WH Smith 5870 SQFT store situated at the UK’s second busiest station, London Victoria 

The giant installation, covering the whole of the façade of one of the biggest WH Smith stores in London, at Victoria train station, is unveiled today to mark the national launch of Core ‘Bolt’ range of Mobile Accessories, as a pilot with WH Smith Travel sites.  

The creative features imagery of the Core Bolt rangeportfolio of 20 products, allowing consumers to Charge, Connect, & Listen without the premium price tag.  

The installation is made up of 28 branded panels, which will spread over the ground and first floors of the exterior of the store. 

Andrew Noble, Marketing Director of Core Group said, “This is an important time, the transition from lockdown will be key to the recovery of retail.  Rail passenger numbers will increase as restrictions are eased and consumers start getting out of their homes.  It is imperative Core is ready for the bounce back, and partnering with WH Smith Travel, is important to achieving our growth plans for the mobile accessories category.”  

Core launched its first range of essential mobile accessories in 2015 and sold over 3.2m products, in 2020, across 10,000+ independent UK stockists 

The installation at WH Smith Victoria is part of the roll-out of the Core Bolt range to its other key Travel stores and the Victoria station branding will remain in place until 24th March 2021.
