Jo Malone London signs up with intu after pop-up store success

Aspirational beauty brand, Jo Malone London, has signed up with intu to open a 1,281 sq ft boutique at intu Lakeside following on from its pop-up store success.

Taking prime space near aspirational brands including Hugo Boss, MAC and Calvin Klein, the luxury retailer selling high-end fragrances and candles will open in May 2018. The brand will have access to intu Lakeside’s affluent catchment spanning the south east of England.

Jo Malone London opened their first pop-up store at intu Lakeside last year to give customers the chance to purchase and experience their products. Due to its success, they’ve signed for permanent space at the centre and have also worked with intu’s digital team to promote Jo Malone London online at intu.co.uk. This is another brand to sign up to intu’s tailor-made promotional services model which combines leasing, digital and experiences to help brands as they look to optimise their portfolio or expand their UK coverage.

This is the second Jo Malone London boutique within our portfolio and we’re excited to have them onboard.”

intu is expanding its offer by creating 175,000 sq ft of extra space for leisure brands like Nickelodeon and Hollywood Bowl as well as 11 new restaurants. Other luxury brands to have signed up to the centres aspirational retail mix include Cath Kidston and The North Face and GANT.
