itsu launches in Woking’s newly opened Victoria Place

The popular healthy fast-food restaurant, itsu, has opened in Victoria Place Woking, the recently launched destination co-owned by Woking Borough Council and Moyallen Group. The brand is delivering its signature sushi, rice and noodle bowls, gyoza, ‘bao’buns’, soups, Asian salads and snacks from its new 3,300 sq ft location at 1 Mercia Walk.

Creating 26 new jobs for the local community, itsu Woking provides restaurant quality cuisine with fast-food efficiency.  Priding itself on providing nutritious, but affordable fresh food, plant-based dishes make up one third of itsu’s menu.

Vishal Talreja, Property Director of itsu, commented: “itsu is for everyone, everywhere and we’re so excited to be opening many more stores across the UK and beyond. The opening of our new store at Victoria Place, at such a great regenerated destination in the South East, is the next stop on this exciting journey.”

Peter Robinson, Chief Executive at Moyallen, added: “We are very proud of Victoria Place, and the arrival of brands such as itsu and GAIL’s adds further diversification to our growing F&B line-up. itsu and GAIL’s are a perfect fit for Victoria Place, and we look forward to seeing them, alongside many others, become new staple brands for Woking.”

JLL and Nash Bond acted for Victoria Place.  PF Retail represented itsu.
