  • The Portman Estate covers 110 acres of London’s Marylebone district

The wide choice of dining options on The Portman Estate continues to grow, with three new independent f&b lettings on the 110-acre Estate in London’s Marylebone district. These new arrivals will take the Estate’s dining offer to 40 restaurants, cafés and delis.

A.O.K. Kitchen & Bakery – the debut restaurant from The Arts Club’s Kelly Landesberg -has taken 3,500 sq ft at 52-55 Dorset Street. It is a healthy food concept, inclusive of special dietary requirements, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner with a focus on gluten, dairy and refined sugar free dishes. Everbean Deli aims to provide an inviting space for Londoners and visitors on Seymour Place, serving breakfast, brunch and lunch menus, available to eat in or take away. Blue Dot Coffee will offer artisan coffee, and hot and cold snacks, on Old Quebec Street.

The signing of these new eateries adds to the mix of owner-operated shops and restaurants. The Portman Estate has a long track record of nurturing and supporting entrepreneurs adding to the vibrancy and appeal of this part of the capital.

Philip Norris, Head of Retail at The Portman Estate said: “We’re delighted that independent businesses and entrepreneurs continue to choose this quarter of the West End to open their restaurants and cafés – the mix of owner-operated shops and restaurants is an important part of Marylebone’s unique character. We’ve no doubt these new arrivals will further cement the area as one of London’s must-visit dining destinations.”

Kelly Landesberg, Founder of A.O.K. Kitchen & Bakery said “I am extremely excited about the opportunity to open my first restaurant on The Portman Estate’s Marylebone district,  where the restaurant scene is going from strength-to-strength. I admire the special sense of community on and around the Chiltern Street area, which we look forward to being part of.”

Kelly will be joined by a team of acclaimed chefs from London’s dining scene, including Kostas Rampias, former Head Chef at MoMo’s. Sebastien Chiono, the Head Baker at The Arts Club, will be creating freshly-made patisserie and viennoiserie in dairy, gluten and free varieties, all refined sugar free.
