High Street Recovery & Resilience campaign launched

The phased lifting of lockdown restrictions has begun and the next few months may prove to be the most important in the history of the high street.

Last week, 4 year old industry movement SaveTheHighStreet.org launched it’s COVID-19 Recovery & Resilience campaign.

Free, personalised support is now available to help any UK based independent high street business owner accelerate their recovery and build their resilience in the face of COVID-19.

This includes a report with scores that show strengths, weaknesses, gaps and opportunities across their business as well as, more detailed guides about 6 top recommendations, an optional consultant call and invites to a series of exclusive educational webinars.

High street businesses based anywhere in the UK can access all this support for free by completing a survey that is now open on SaveTheHighStreet.org

High street businesses can also join directly through this link – https://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/5576426/High-Street-Recovery-and-Resilience?s=tm

Individual Health-Check scores will be anonymised and aggregated across businesses to measure the health of each high street, sector, town, county and more, as well as for the UK high street economy as a whole. Market insights and reports will be available for free for every local business that contributes to the research, as well as for all SaveTheHighStreet.org partners and supporters.

SaveTheHighStreet.org is explicitly committing to not sharing anyone’s personal or business data with other organisations.

Hundreds of independent high street businesses have already joined the new campaign which is also now being supported by Local Authorities, trade associations, BIDs, community groups, chambers of commerce, local business associations and others.

Alex Schlagman, Founding Partner of the SaveTheHighStreet.org campaign said: “The clock is ticking for high street businesses to get ready to reopen both safely and successfully. The more businesses that get it right this Summer, the stronger our high street recovery will be through 2020 and for the long term. The future of the high street depends on how we all act now.”
