Connaught Village unveils a brand-new outdoor neon lighting display in time for Valentine’s Day, A Tree of Love, Joy and Hope funded by The Church Commissioners. LED lights have been handcrafted into dazzling pink and red hearts, adorning the tree at the junction of Connaught Street and Kendal Street – along a popular walking route to Hyde Park.
The idea was to create a prominent landmark and to give the community an uplifting experience. They asked the experiential company, Sister London, and leading lighting designer Shiu-Kay Kan to create an all-new lighting campaign.
James Parker, Assistant Manager – Commercial Real Estate, at the Church Commissioners, comments: “We are delighted to be able to give Londoners a much-needed burst of light with our latest installation in Connaught Village. It was important for us to provide a focal point for the community during these difficult times that can be enjoyed safely by all outside.”

The installation will be in Connaught Village from February 5th and is set to bring a smile to all those frequenting the local village shops. Essential food and beverage retailers remain open in the village with strict social distancing measures in place. Many fashion and lifestyle boutiques are also offering exclusive at home delivery services for online customers.
