Coach opens new store at St James Quarter, Edinburgh

St James Quarter, the £1bn retail-led lifestyle district in Edinburgh, which launched its first phase in the summer of 2021, has added Coach, a global design house of modern luxury leather goods, apparel and lifestyle accessories to its line-up. Taking a 3,140 sq ft space on level three, it will sit amongst many other designer brands.

The space will feature a wide assortment of Coach merchandise for women and men including bags, small leather goods, footwear, watches, travel accessories, scarves and jewellery. Warm and inviting, the store environment reflects the sophisticated yet playful refinement of New York – the city Coach has always called home.

Chris Pyne, head of leasing at St James Quarter, said: “The addition of Coach further cements St James Quarter’s position as the go to retail, leisure and dining destination in Edinburgh probably Scotland, and is an endorsement of the rapid growth in the brands who have made it their home since the opening in June 2021.  We are hugely excited to see brands such as Coach backing St James Quarter by upsizing their store and bringing their full range offer to our customers.  As we move into spring we look forward to further openings including the 5 screen Everyman Cinema next month.”

The game-changing mixed-use development being delivered by Nuveen Real Estate completes the distinctive offer of Edinburgh with over 80 new brands, an enticing mix of restaurants and bars, W Edinburgh, a boutique Everyman Cinema, a Roomzzz Aparthotel, and an enviable events programme in a range of new and attractive public spaces.
