Longmartin Properties, a joint venture between Shaftesbury and The Mercers’ Company, kicked off festivities last week by launching The Christmas Treats Bazaar for visitors to St Martin’s Courtyard.

Located at 3 Slingsby Place, the bazaar took place from Wednesday 28th to Friday 30th November and welcomed over 30,000 visitors to St Martin’s Courtyard over the three-day period. Partnering with over 20 retailers, visitors had the opportunity to win a gift from a prize pot worth over £1260, as well as participate in a variety of fashion and beauty workshops.

Shoppers were also able to enjoy selected retailer discounts from brands including & Other Stories and additional services such as free gift wrapping, all designed to treat visitors and take the stress out of Christmas shopping.

This announcement coincides with the new signing for lululemon, a technical apparel brand for yoga, running, training and other sweaty pursuits. On 30th November, lululemon relocated to a new 2,980 sq. ft., split-level space at 125 Long Acre. In addition to offering the brand’s latest collections for men and women, the basement floor can be transformed into a studio, offering complimentary classes to the local community led by lululemon’s yoga and fitness ambassadors. Founded in Vancouver, Canada in 1998, lululemon is the brand defining an active, mindful lifestyle – creating design-led products that empower people to live a life they love.

Charles Owen, Portfolio Executive at Shaftesbury, added on behalf of Longmartin Properties: “The Christmas Treats Bazaar was the perfect opportunity to showcase St Martin’s Courtyard as a leading retail destination for visitors to experience stress-free shopping this Christmas. The high volume of footfall and quality of brands that participated in our Christmas Treats Bazaar highlights both how popular our destination is and the breadth of brands we have on offer.”
