opens ‘Home of Black Friday’ pop-up experience to showcase the best of its Black Friday sale opens the doors to its ‘Home of Black Friday’ pop-up experience in central London to celebrate the countdown to the UK’s biggest annual deals event.

Located in the heart of central London’s shopping district, the 3,000 square foot space features over 100 specially curated products – all available through Black Friday deals – within five uniquely themed rooms including a hand-illustrated kitchen and living area, a chic bedroom and beauty parlour, an immersive gaming and technology zone, a whimsical kids play and storytelling room and a creative workshop space.

Customers are invited to explore the best of Amazon’s Black Friday Sale and Amazon Prime within the space and join in the fun with creative workshops, hundreds of prize giveaways, product demonstrations and special guest appearances.

The experience will be open from 12:30pm to 7:30pm daily from 21st to 24th November.  All activities will be free for visitors to enjoy, including:

  • Make-up tutorial with YouTube star and beauty expert Lottie Tomlinson
  • Cooking demonstration courtesy of TV chef Gizzi Erskine
  • Workshops from Amazon Marketplace Artisans including candle making with Cozy Glow and jewellery making with Clutch and Clasp
  • Sampling of tasty treats from chocolatiers Govida and LavolioJoe & Seph’s popcorn, Pure Earth juices and more
  • Master classes and cocktail tastings throughout the week including craft cocktail sampling from Absolut.
  • Digital spin to win games with hundreds of prizes to walk away with, including the latest Amazon devices and products from across beauty, home & garden, book, toys, entertainment, and technology

Bargain hunters will also be treated to shopping advice from gifting expert and founder of The Retail Champion, Clare Bailey, who will be on hand each day to help customers get the most out of the UK’s biggest shopping day.

Customers will be able to shop the curated products on display using the scan and buy function within the Amazon App. A dedicated Prime Now delivery area will be in the lobby at the venue, allowing shoppers to have their Black Friday deal purchases available on Prime Now delivered to the pop up within two hours.

The Black Friday Sale

This year, the Black Friday Deals Store will be open from 00:00 on Friday 17th until 23:59 on Sunday 26th November. Amazon will have new ‘Deals of the Day’ every day throughout the period, ranging from Amazon devices, electronics and pet supplies to kitchen and home & garden items. There will also be thousands of ‘Lightning Deals’ – products available at a discount, in limited quantities, for a short period of time – introduced throughout the sale, with new deals becoming available as often as every five minutes. Amazon Prime members, including customers enjoying a free Amazon Prime 30-day trial, will have an exclusive 30-minute early access period to all Lightning Deals.

Customers can also shop using the Amazon App, which is designed to make shopping fast and easy. In fact, last Christmas, more than 70% of Amazon customers worldwide shopped using a mobile device. In the Amazon App, customers can find where their parcels are in seconds, use camera search to quickly find the items they want by pointing at an item or barcode, and never miss a deal by setting Watch-a-Deal alerts.
