Warm Welcome at St Christopher’s Place

Today at 9am, St Christopher’s Place, one of the capital’s first ‘villages’ and Selfridges ‘next door neighbour’, joined in the buzz and celebration of sport this summer and launched the area’s first ever Bell Boys.

Stationed at the entrance to St Christopher’s Place on Oxford Street, the Bell Boys will help welcome the millions of visitors to the area this summer. Set to become a key feature on Oxford Street, the Bell Boys will be on standby to help West End visitors with local information and introduce them to the charms of St Christopher’s Place.

Margaret Newman, General Manager at St Christopher’s Place, says; “We wanted to mark the London 2012 Games in a really unique way this summer – and what better way than the area’s first ever Bell Boys? Their arrival also celebrates the completion of a £1million refurbishment. Not the usual nine to five, their job will be to encourage visitors to discover the eclectic mix of shopping and alfresco dining in St Christopher’s Place – a true London original oozing in charm.”
